A Salinas man was arrested today on drug and gun charges. Officers responded reports of a suspicious individual near the intersection of Williams Road and Alma Avenue this morning. When contacted and questioned, 18-year-old Christian Torres admitted he had a gun in his jacket. Police found the suspect in possession of a firearm, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Torres was booked into Monterey County Jail.
