Santa Cruz officials are seeking to expand City Hall. The governing body has been separated into seven buildings near the hall’s address on the 800 block of Center Street. Officials say five departments have outgrown their offices. The City Council may sign a lease for more space on Cedar Street. The council will meet today to consider the expansion. During the meeting, council members will also discuss finances for the reorganization of City Hall.
