The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office welcomed fifteen new recruits this week. The new class is made up of ten men and five women. Tomorrow, they will start a six-month academy at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Justice Center in Morgan Hill. Upon finishing the academy, the recruits will begin a three-month training program with the Sheriff’s Office.
