Santa Cruz’s Veteran’s Memorial Building’s courtyard has been restored. The courtyard, behind the 1930’s era building, on the 800 block of Front Street, had been neglected for decades. Recently a group of volunteers received a $2,000 grant from the city. The volunteers have cleaned out the area. Performed a variety of repairs, and replanted the courtyard with drought resistant foliage, restoring the courtyard for veterans and others visiting the building.
