A Pacific Grove woman who had her eight year prison sentence suspended is now going to be incarcerated. In August of 2013, 47-year-old Patricia Conklin was convicted on three counts of felony elder abuse to her 77-year-old mother. She received a suspended sentence, upon the successful completion of formal probation. The sentence would have been dismissed, however in July Conklin violated her probation and has been ordered to serve the full eight years in prison.
