The Monterey County SPCA has announced that 14 dogs rescued in April are ready to be adopted. The 4 adult dogs and 10 puppies were found stacked in filthy crates inside a car. The owner, Betty Bustamante is facing animal neglect charges. The dogs are between 7 months and 7 years old and the adoptions come with spaying or neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping and a health evaluation. The dogs can be viewed at the SPCA’s 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway location.
