Monterey Audubon Seeks to Renovate Laguna Grande Regional Park- 10/16/14 10:00 S.G.

The Monterey Audubon Society has made a proposal to renovate the Laguna Grande Regional Park. Officials say illegal camping has caused environmental damage in the 35-acre park. Additionally the organization has called for the area to be monitored after two bodies were found in the park in recent months. The society has started an online petition urging the Seaside City Council to improve Laguna Grande’s accessibility and safety. The petition can be found on change.org.
