A police officer, and 2 other people, were injured in a 3-vehicle crash in Salinas last night. The just before 8 p.m. accident occurred when the driver of an eastbound truck ran the red light at the intersection of East Boronda and San Juan Grade Roads. The tuck then hit a patrol car and another vehicle head-on. The officer, and the driver of the other vehicle that was hit, were both transported by ambulance to a local hospital where they were treated and released. The third injured person declined medical attention.
