The California Department of Public Health has announced that Williams-Sonoma Pumpkin Seed Pesto sauce may have been improperly produced, and susceptible to contamination with the bacteria that produces botulism. The recalled product can be identified by the following keeping (SKU) numbers: 6404305 and 6389043. Botulism is a rare but serious paralytic illness initial symptoms are double or blurred vision, drooping eyelids, and progressive descending paralysis.
