A  NUMBER OF NEW SPECIES OF SHARKS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED BY A MOSS LANDING MARINE LABS RESEARCHER WORKING IN THE INDIAN OCEAN. THERE WILL BE SOME FOOTAGE SHOWN OF SOME OF THOSE SHARKS TONIGHT ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL’S SHARK WEEK SHOW. 29 YEAR-OLD MASTER’S STUDENT RESEARCHER PAUL CLERKIN SAYS AT LEAST ONE OF THEM IS A NEW SPECIES OF “GHOST SHARK”, THAT IS TH E SIZE OF A WATERMELON, AND HAS A BROWN BODY, PURPLE FINS, AND A THICK HEAD. IT CAN ALSO INDEPENDENTLY MOVE THE VENOMOUS BARBED SPINE ON ITS DORSAL FIN. "Alien Shark" IS SCHEDULED TO air AT 9 p.m. TONIGHT, (and "Shark After Dark" IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN 2 HOURS LATER (AT 11 p.m. tonight).
