DODGERS PARTIALLY RESPONSIBLE – 07/09/14 18:31 S.S.

A JURY HAS DETERMINED THAT THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS TEAM, AND THE 2 MEN WHO BEAT-UP SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS FAN BRYAN STOW IN 2011, SHARE THE DAMAGES. THE DODGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR ABOUT A QUARTER OF THE 18 MILLION DOLLARS ASSESSED; WHILE MARVIN NORWOOD AND LOUIE SANCHEZ ARE SUPPOSED TO SPLIT THE COST OF THE REMAINING APPROXIMATELY 13 MILLION DOLLARS RESTITUTION. THE MONEY WILL GO TO HELP COVER THE WAGES (AND MEDICAL EXPENSES) THAT STOW WOULD HAVE EARNED HAD HE NOT SUFFERED THE BRAIN-DAMAGING TRAUMA OF THAT OPENING NIGHT BEATING. STOW WAS A SANTA CRUZ PARAMEDIC AT THE TIME….WITH 2 YOUNG CHILDREN.
