A wildfire broke out at about 5:45 p-m yesterday (thurs) near boulder creek. Cal fire reported the blaze was located in the back country of big basin state park near middle ridge road off of highway 236. 2 air tankers along with ground crews were fighting the fire, described as un contained, and at about a half an acre shortly before 7 p-m.
