a motorcyclist was arrested following an accident on highway 1 near capitola. the incident took place at about 5:20 p-m in the northbound lanes near 41st avenue, WHEN the rider and a passenger were ejected after hitting another vehicle. the passenger was air-lifted to a bay area trauma center. the rider was treated at an area hospital before being arrested on d-u-i charges.
