the santa cruz county anti-crime team were aided by monterey county authorities in serving a search warrant in moss landing last week. at about 6:30 p-m on tuesday a search warrant was served at a home of a known watsonville gang member on the 1st block of struve road. officers seized a loaded pistol, methamphetamine, and marijuana, also confiscated were drug trafficking equipment and gang PARAPHERNALIA. 34 year old francisco ruiz was arrested on drugs and weapons charges with gang enhancements, and 27 year old armando ruiz was arrested on suspicion of sales. both men were booked into monterey county jail.
