COAST DAIRIES LITIGATION – 03/20/14 13:54 S.S.

A CONSERVATION GROUP IS ASKING A GROUP OF BONNY DOON NEIGHBORS FOR MORE THAN 200 THOUSAND DOLLARS. THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND SAYS THE MONEY WOULD COVER ATTORNEY’S FEES, WHILE THE NEIGHBORS CONTINUE TO TRY AND BLOCK THE TRANSFER OF THE COAST DAIRIES PROPERTY TO THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT. ONCE TRANSFERRED, THE PLAN IS TO OPEN MUCH OF THE PROPERTY TO PUBLIC USE. THE TRANSFER HAS BEEN TIED UP IN COURT FOR YEARS.
