AT&T has agreed to be the sponsor of the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf tournament through 2024. Financial details have not been announced, however sources say the deal between the telecommunications giant and the Monterey Peninsula Foundation is over a million dollars. The annual event was known as the Bing Crosby National Pro-Amateur before AT&T began sponsoring it in 1985. Tournament officials say money for the naming will go toward the foundation’s charity efforts.
