A convicted felon was arrested in a Moss Landing neighborhood early this morning for possessing fire bombs and a gun. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the area of sandholt Road at Highway-1 around 1 a.m, when they spotted a vehicle parked on the side of the road with the license plate of another vehicle. The man inside the vehicle, 40-year old Eric Snyder was contacted about the car’s registration, which he told deputies was inside of a lockbox. Deputies retrieved the lockbox and discovered five active pipe bombs and a loaded revolver. The bomb squad arrived and detonated the devices. No injuries were reported.
