A man was killed in a fatal car collision after he drove into a Santa Cruz County theater last night. The incident took place when the man drove into the façade of the Rio Theater on Seabright and Soquel at about 10:30 p.m. Authorities say The collision destroyed the ticket booth, and the front doors, leaving broken glass and debris through-out the front of the building. Theater Employees were not allowed to enter the building until 3 o’clock this morning. No other injuries were reported. Debris is still being cleared from the theater.
