One of Santa Cruz County’s most wanted men was arrested in Watsonville yesterday afternoon. Police say they spotted Jose Munoz walking in the area of Roosevelt Street just after 3:30, when he fled from officers and led them on a foot chase through several residential neighborhoods. Munoz was eventually located after he jumped over a fence into a backyard on Oregon Street, before barricading himself inside of a garage. After a brief struggle, he was arrested on warrants and suspicion of resisting arrest, he was also found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after his arrest.
