A 24-year old Capitola man was found in a fatal SUV crash near Lexington Reservoir this week after he was tracked through his cellphone’s GPS system. Police say Kevin Michael Rocha was last seen Sunday night in San Francisco, when he was on his phone with family members while driving back to Capitola. Police believe Rocha crashed that night. Authorities say they were unable to locate his GMC Yukon because it was not easily visible from the road. Rocha was reported missing Tuesday when he didn’t’ show up for work. Searchers used GPS coordinates from his iPhone, and found his car Tuesday night about 100-feet downhill from southbound Highway 17 near Alma college Road. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
