Santa Cruz County will hold a public hearing tomorrow on a proposal to build a new wireless communications facility in Ben Lomond. The proposal discusses locating antennas for the roof mounted Verizon facility within an extension to an existing tower at the Ben Lomond Fire station. The proposal also includes placing outdoor radio equipment and utility cabinets on the adjacent parcel at Scarborough Ace Hardware. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors Chamber located at the Santa Cruz County Government Center on 701 Ocean Street.
