A former Marina baseball coach has been sentenced to spend eight years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to three counts of child sex abuse. Bill Joe Seabolt will also be required to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life. The charges stem from two separate incidents with two pre-teen boys that occurred in November 2012 and January 2013. Seabolt also faces pending criminal charges in Illinois regarding similar criminal acts. He is expected to be extradited to Illinois to face those charges after today’s sentencing.
