Monterey’s annual Christmas dinner will be hosted this year at the Monterey County Fairgrounds and Event Center. The free event begins at 3 p.m. on December 25th in the Monterey Room, and will include musical entertainment, toys, and an appearance by Santa Claus. Volunteers are still needed to present the dinner. Donations of clothing, food, toys and cash are still being accepted. The Fairgrounds and event center is located at 2004 Fairgound Road in Monterey.
