A deadline to cash in on rebates for certain water saving devices in Monterey County, is quickly approaching. The Monterey Peninsula Water Management District says the deadline is New Years Eve to take advantage of the program, which includes cash rebates on water saving appliances that are available for commercial property owners and businesses on the Monterey Peninsula served by California American Water. Officials say the “Commercial Customer Rebate Program” helps businesses and commercial property owners implement the required water efficient measures. The rebates are available for purchase until midnight December 31st 2013, for commercial customers to still receive cash back.
