A group of suspected gang members are being sought in connection with a Salinas shooting that occurred during a party over the weekend. Police arrived to the 20-block of St. Michael Way just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday, after a report of a man saying he had been shot. The man told police he was at a party when four or five uninvited men arrived, when they got into a fight with the man and his friends. The victim reportedly followed the suspects to their vehicle, when one of the men fired several rounds, striking the victim in the arm. The victim said the gunman was yelling gang slogans during the shooting. Police say the purported gang members were last seen driving away in a white Acura.
