Registered nurses at Watsonville Community Hospital are expected to hold a one-day strike tomorrow over cuts in health coverage and bad faith bargaining. At issue is increases in Nurse’s out of pocket health care costs, plus additional costs in co-pays and deductibles. Nurses also say the hospital is violating Federal Labor Laws, by refusing to bargain over certain proposals and withholding of information needed to assure good faith negotiations, The strike officially ends Wednesday morning at 6:45 a.m.
