A new blog is expected to keep Santa Cruz County residents in the know on construction updates for the Arana Gulch Project. The site contains an updated map of the trail, as well as a weekly timeline that describes the work being done. The site was created by the Santa Cruz Public Works Department for those who want to be kept in the loop on the progress being made of the 68-acre pedestrian and bicyclist trail connecting Live Oak and Santa Cruz. The blog can be found at arana trail project dot blog-spot dot com. A letter explaining the construction is also expected to be sent to nearby neighbors.
