The Santa Cruz Salvation Army kicks off it’s annual Kettle Kickoff Luncheon fundraiser next week. The event launches the annual Salvation Army bell-ringing season, and also helps raise money for needy families. Jimmy Panetta, a Monterey County assistant district attorney and son of former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, will be the event’s featured speaker. The Luncheon will be held on Monday November 25th at the Cocoanut Grove on 400 Beach Street in Santa Cruz.
