Marina City Council members will look at multiple airport permits later today. Members will consider renewing a proposed permit for Monterey Bay Karters, which would allow go-karts to continue racing on the city airport’s north tarmac area. The permit fee however would increase from $375 to $600 a day. The new proposal would also require the group to get Federal Aviation Administration concurrence before it’s 2014 schedule . The council is also expected to consider a similar permit for South Bay Regional Public Safety, which would allow driver training exercises on the Airport’s south tarmac.
