A Watsonville food vendor was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight this morning. The 41-year old man was serving lunches from his taco truck near a raspberry field at Coward Road and Riverside Drive around 11:30, when police say a Latino man in his late teens to early 20s appeared, pointed a gun at the man and demanded money. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police conducted a search around the fields for about 2 hours. No arrests were made.
