A man wanted for car jacking and vehicle theft, is still being sought in Santa Cruz County. Authorities are looking for 29-year old Nathan Jared Anderson after he was last seen today driving a blue 1995 Honda Civic, License Plate number 3KKF716. Anderson is a suspect in a Watsonville carjacking that took place last Wednesday on Riverside Road after a black two-door 2011 Honda was taken from a woman. A CHP officer tried to pull Anderson over Sunday afternoon when he was driving a black Nissan Sentra on Freedom Boulevard at a high rate of speed. He continued to evade the officer until the chase was called off for alleged safety reasons. Officials say Anderson is known for stealing several makes of cars, but prefers Hondas.
