Two Hispanic men in their late 20s are being sought after an elderly couple was robbed at gunpoint early this morning in Salinas. The couple was confronted by the suspects around 1:30 a.m. near their residence on the 700-block of East Romie Lane, when one of the men pointed a gun at the victims and demanded money. Police say the second suspect punched the 66-year old male victim after he said he had no money, while the first suspect grabbed the purse from the 69-year old female victim before they fled on foot. A fake firearm was found after police believe one of the suspects dropped it when they bumped into a parked car.
