A 33-year old Monterey woman was airlifted to a nearby trauma center yesterday after she crashed her bicycle into a car. Emergency crews responded to Central Avenue and 14th Street in Pacific Grove just before 12:30 p.m., to find the bicyclist suffering from head trauma and a laceration above her eye. Police say the woman was riding her bike without a helmet eastbound on Central Avenue, when she collided with the rear of a Honda Accord, who was stopped and yielding the right of way to a pedestrian. The woman is reportedly listed in stable condition.
