A ONE-DAY SLOPE MAINTENANCE REPAIR PROJECT IS SLATED TO TAKE PLACE THIS WEEK NEAR CARMEL AS PART OF CALTRAN’S WINTER PREPARATION.    THE WORK ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH WILL OCCUR ON A PORTION OF NORTHBOUND HIGHWAY 1, SIX MILES NORTH OF ROCKY CREEK, BETWEEN MALPASO CREEK AND GARRAPATA BRIDGE.    ROADWORK HOURS ARE SLATED BETWEEN 9 A.M. AND 2 P.M., WITH ONE-WAY REVERSING TRAFFIC CONTROL WITH FLAGGERS.    A DELAY OF UP TO 10 MINUTES IS EXPECTED.    THE ROADWORK IS BEING PERFORMED AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION.
