W’VILLE PESTICIDE DEATH – IDENTIFIED 07-23-2013 0930 av

THE IDENTITY HAS BEEN RELEASED OF A WATSONVILLE MAN WHO DIED THIS WEEK OF AN ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE OF FARM PESTICIDES.  AUTHORITIES SAY 25-YEAR OLD EDWARD LUNDBERG FOUND A PLASTIC BAGGIE FILLED WITH PILLS LYING ON THE GROUND NEAR A FARM ON AIRPORT BOULEVARD AND HOLOHAN ROAD.   LUNDBERG REPORTEDLY INGESTED THE PILLS IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET HIGH.   HE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL AT 4 P.M. SUNDAY AND WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD MONDAY AT 1 A.M.   A CORONER’S REPORT FOUND THE PESTICIDE PELLETS CONTAINING ALUMINUM PHOSPHATE.
