The Monterey county highway patrol is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a car involved in a hit and run that killed a local man.
The accident occurred on Salinas road, May 7th, when bicyclist, 48-year-old Robert Cruz was hit by a car traveling southbound.
Cruz died from his injuries last Saturday.
The suspect’s vehicle is a 90’s model Honda Sedan.
Witnesses say the windshield of the sedan was damaged in the collision.
