Soledad’s cherished “It’s happening in Soledad” billboard was torn down Wednesday.
In January the city council voted to change it’s slogan to “gateway to the pinnacles” to capitalize on the designation of the Pinnacles as a National park, which President Obama did in January.
Part of the new billboard still reads It’s Happening in Soledad.
