santa cruz music legend, bob brozman has died.    the multi- talented brozman studied music and ethnomusicology at the university of washington. his career took off after playing on the streets of santa cruz.  he was involved on over 30 albums, including 14 solo albums.  in 1993 he also became an internationally KNOWN author with the publication of his book; “the history and artistry of national resonator instruments.” he was a contributor to music magazines.  he was a professor of music studies at  Macquarie University, in Sydney, Australia.  some of his many other accomplishments, include creating arrangements for film, stage, television and radio.   he loved to perform live and was noted for the playful manner in which he engaged his audiences.   he died at home at the age of 59. he is survived by his wife haley.
