the HOLLISTER POLICE DEPARTMENT is cracking down on cyberbullying. the hollister police department has been ahead of the nation in addressing the issue of cyberbullies on-line. the recent suicide of 15 year old annie pott, which was prompted by cyberbullies posting images of her being sexually assaulted, has brought the issue to national attention. last year hollister police closed down 2 social media web pages where the bullying of middle school students was occurring. police say the most important ingredient to successfully combating any cyber issue is parent involvement.
