Authorities have identified the man who was murdered in salinas yesterday as 22-year-old Richard Pimentel. The salinas resident was shot in the head at as he walked on the 3-hundred block of north main street. Pimentel was pronounced dead at the scene. the shooter fled toward bridge street following the 6 p.m. shooting.
