Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital has begun their search for a new CEO. The Hospital has employed the executive search firm Witt/Keifer to pursue and interview prospective CEOs across the country. The position was previously held by Sam Downing, who held the job for decades before retiring last year. The hospital is offering a salary between $450,000 and $500,000, in an effort to attract qualified candidates. The firm is expected to find a candidate in about 5 to 6 months.
