Vandalism arrest 08/28/12 5:15p.m. TDH

A 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday in capitola, after allegedly spray-painting graffiti in a restaurant’s bathroom.   Morgan hill resident William Robert yurosko was arrested after a brief foot chase with capitola police officers.   Officers had been called to the Monterey avenue restaurant after employees reported that yurosko had spray painted the letters “SS” in the men’s restroom.    Officers were taking the report, when employees spotted yurosko still in the area, and pointed him out to officers.  After being apprehended, yurosko was booked into santa cruz county jail for felony vandalism, (and has since been released on bail).  He also has a pending vandalism charge in morgan hill.    Police are investigating if yurosko is responsible for similar graffiti that was found at esplanade park.
