A woman was robbed yesterday in Salinas on her way to deposit money from her job. The incident took place at 9am on Sanborn Road. The victim was leaving the Subway restaurant where she worked with a bank deposit. When she got into her vehicle, a brown Honda pulled up behind her, blocking her in. A man jumped from the passenger seat and began banging on her window, demanding the money. The culprit pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim. He grabbed the bag and got back into the car, driven by a second suspect, and they took off. The culprit is described as a while male with stocky build, about 5 foot 11, with a crew cut and dark brown eyebrows.
