A scotts valley man pleaded “no contest” thursday to multiple charges, for molesting 2-teenage girls. David Escobar was convicted of 12-charges, including child molestation, 4-counts of statutory rape, and other crimes. Escobar had originally faced 48-counts, related to his abuse of the 2 underage victims. He is scheduled to be sentenced on September 26th. Until then, escobar is expected to remain in custody at santa cruz county jail.
