An inmate at monterey county jail had to be tazed Monday, after he assaulted jail employees. The inmate was being removed from a detox-cell just before 4 a.m., when he became combative. A corrections officer suffered a minor injury in the scuffle, before the inmate was subdued with 2 tazer shots. The inmate was not arrested for the incident.
