A Salinas woman attacked her ex-boyfriend after she witnessed him driving past her with another woman. 35-year-old Lori Knight was driving on Davis Road with a female friend when she spotted a car driven by her 44-year-old ex-boyfriend. When she noticed that there was a female passenger in the car Knight became angry and began chasing the vehicle. She rammed her car into his, causing damage to both sides. When the man got out of his car after driving to his mothers house, Knight and her friend exited their car and began punching the man. The other female passenger drove off in the boyfriend’s vehicle, and abandoned it on West Market Street. Knight was taken into custody by Salinas Police and charged with domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. The friend was cited and released.
