An estimated 45-gallons of diesel fuel spilled into the monterey bay Saturday morning, when a fishing boat was damaged.   At 7:20 a.m. The 28-foot boat got caught in the surf (off of moss landing), causing the boat to break apart.   The only occupant was not injured, and was able to make it to shore without assistance.   Investigators with the U.S. Coast guard are expected to try to determine what caused the boat to break apart.
