An attempted burglary was stopped wednesday by a Watsonville resident. After attempting to enter through the locked front door of a residence on the 1-hundred block of Packard lane, the suspect tried to enter through a window. A woman inside saw the man trying to enter, at which point the suspect fled. Anyone with information about the 3:40 p.m. incident is encouraged to contact the Watsonville police department.
