Some street work near seabright state beach in santa cruz could cause slight traffic delays in the area this week. Known as the “Spring 2012 cape seal project,” the work will involve the application of chip-seal and slurry seal to guard against weather and vehicle wear-and-tear. The work is scheduled to be performed through next monday, (june 18th), at the beach-end of seabright avenue. the project will then move to re-seal portions of broadway avenue and Frederick street.
