most people awake to find a morning newspaper in their front yard. one marina resident found a car in his yard that had flipped onto its roof thursday morning. marina police are investigating the cause of the crash, in which the driver struck a fire hydrant on monterey road in the former fort ord. the driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries. no criminal charges have been filed against the driver.
